The first step is to write down a wish list of amenities for your new home. Meet with a loan officer to see how much you qualify for a loan. Once you have a figure, search our blueprints online. When you find a blueprint that interests you, use the cost estimation links on our website to get a "ballpark" construction cost to build the home . Although we can not guarantee these websites are completely accurate, they can give you some idea as these sites survey builders and suppliers nationwide on costs regularly. There are so many factors that may make the construction costs vary such as quality of material, owner labor, subcontractor contract negotiation, interest rates, etc. It is better to be conservative when choosing the size of the home. Remember, you need to include the cost of land too!
